I have a question about the genealogy search results from my own sheep.

For certain sheep I have, the search results are incomplete. Sometimes it does not list a father, sometimes it does not list a mother, sometimes it doesn't list siblings I know the sheep have.

Does anyone else have this problem?

I know that in one case, the mother may not be listed because she "died"; unfortunately, that doesn't help me when I want to try to keep track of genes. As for the other cases, I can't think of any reason the genealogy reports are incomplete.

Any help or advice would be great!

This never occured to me but I've seen that someone had the same problem on a French topic. It seems that sometimes when the game can't find the account of one of the parents when a lamb is born, it gives you an orphan lamb. And if I have understood well, the lamb is red or rose.

So if the sheep whose parents you don't find is red or rose, that could be an explanation...

That is strange, because I have two or three orphaned lambs (where the mother died) and NONE of them are red or rose sheep. One was a nougut, but the other two were either black or speckled.

Why is that, anyone know?

Maybe I'm wrong about the breed and you can get any kind of lamb if a parent die...

But do you think that your problem of research might come from that ?

Otherwise it's merely a bug...

That happens to me too, sometimes the lamb has only one parent. I always thought it meant the player breeding the missing parent had frozen his account, but I don't know for sure.
